A two bedroomed (previously housing association) flat, it was in need of a complete overhaul – back to brick! 

 

Creating a contemporary open plan living/kitchen/dining area by removing three internal walls and stealing some space from the adjacent bedroom, the kitchen area is light and bright, where an historic skylight was further opened up. 

 

The bedroom has inbuilt bespoke hidden wardrobes and a new ensuite bathroom, whilst a new shower room with toplight is accessed from the hallway.

 

The new solid timber floor throughout was stained black – a bold move  but which offsets the contemporary white colour scheme throughout.
